No. You do not need to be at home to have your cans cleaned. We clean your bins on your trash pickup day. As long as your cans are on the curb or nearby visible from the street, we’ll clean them on your scheduled date.

We get this question all the time. Yes. There are several advantages to offering hot water pressure washing capabilities, which we do.
Hot water is a natural disinfectant. Therefore, when cleaning a surface with hot water, it does not only clean the surface, but it also kills bacteria such as algae. This keeps the surface cleaner for a longer period of time. Imagine cleaning your dishes with cold water – much less effective.
Additionally, hot water has the ability to cut grease. This makes hot water pressure washing very useful in places such as parking garages where cars tend to leave behind greasy fluids from things like oil or transmission leaks.
Unlike cold water pressure washing, hot water can remove gum by melting it off the surface and it makes it possible to pressure wash in colder weather. As long as the temperature is above 32 degrees, the surface can be cleaned with hot water.

Trash piles up year-round, so we absolutely keep operating year-round! The Winter season presents
challenges, and the cleaning mechanisms of the truck will not operate properly in a polar vortex. To plan
for such an event, we have scheduled our cleaning rotations to provide “slack” in the calendar so we have extra time to
provide your cleaning services over the winter months. If, due to inclement/winter weather, we are not
able to service your bins, we will reschedule your service at a date in the near future. If we can’t get it
done in a timely fashion, no need to worry, you are only charged after you have been serviced.
